The United States began its unmanned exploration of mars on Nov. 5, 1964 with the Mariner 3 mission we have continually been exploring Mars ever since with other missions.NASA's mars rover CURIOSITY has been roaming on mars since 2012 and has been sending us the most clear and amazing images of mars that man has ever seen.Soon NASA will be sending astronauts to the martian surface to explore it.
This event will be NASA's next giant leap for mankind
